It's really feeling like January today with a 0 degree windchill! We are finally all wound down from the holiday festivities and ready to embark on the new year. Such a sad day taking down all of the Christmas stuff, and I must say, out house looks so bare! One of my goals for the year is to set monthly goals for myself. Here are a few of my January goals:
1. Call me cliche, but I really need to get back into my work out routine! I coach basketball, so before the holidays I had a good routine of staying after practice to work out. I need to get back into that! Kaylee has also been sleeping in, so I need to take advantage of that sacred time before she wakes up. I've seen the meme below before, and it always cracks me up.
2. Mail two letters. With cell phones and email, I feel like the art of sending mail is so rare but so appreciated. So, this month I want to write and send two letters.
3. DATE NIGHT! We are well overdue for a date night (I'm not counting NYE), so we need a good one this month :)
Maybe even put on some casual wedding attire?! ;)
4. Read a book. I have started a couple good books, but nighttime reading is bad for me! I go right to sleep. I need to find time during the day to read more. My dad LOVED Pillars of the Earth, so I'd love to
get through that get started (It's almost a thousand pages!!)
