STRANDED!

So excited to link up with Shay and Erika for another STRANDED!  Today, we are sharing three Netflix series we would take with us if stranded on an island.   I don't know how to choose!!!

one.

LOVED this series.  Tammy Taylor and Tim Riggins are everything to me.  I was so sad when this series ended, and I'm praying that maybe someday they'll make another netflix season!?  Like they are doing for my next favorite....

two.

I love these two and Gilmore Girls!  I'm so excited that they are making a mini series (4, 90 minute episodes I believe).  Will I watch them all in one day or spread them out!?! So many decisions.  As a girl mom I think this series especially warms my heart.  

I'm adding this one in here since "Loreli" is in this series, too.  Another one that I was SO sad to end. If you haven't watched this yet, STOP READING THIS AND START WATCHING!!

three.

I started this a few weeks ago (and just started season 3, don't judge.) I don't know if I love it or hate it, but I do know that I can't stop watching it.  It reminds me of Scandal in some ways with all of the politics but I would say is a lot meaner.  I believe there are four seasons of this and counting...

STRANDED

Yay for another Stranded link up :)  !  Today, we are sharing three books we would take on a stranded island with us.

Here they are:

This...this could be the best 14.72 I ever spend if I ever am made aware that I will be stranded on an island before it actually happens...  I laughed as I typed into google search "surviving on a stranded island book" and I'm already contemplating, like should I buy this just in case!?  I obviously have no idea how useful the tips are, but it looks great to me:)

If I'm stranded, I'll definitely want my bible.  I mean, I may even catch some survival tips!?  This was the no-brainer, must-have book for me.  If I'm stranded with some of you fab women, maybe we can even start a bible study?? So many possibilities!

This is probably my favorite book for SO many reasons.  It's a true story, and it's a book of unbelievable resilience, faith, and perseverance.  It's pretty long, so depending how long my stay is, I feel like it's a book I could continue to read and learn from.  It's historical nonfiction, so if you're into that I recommend this book.  I'd also totally be willing to share if we are stranded together:)

What Three things would you take on a deserted island from your medicine cabinet:

 How fun to think about three MUST HAVES from the medicine cabinet.  I used to watch Survivor, so I remember having these thoughts before about things I would NEED on a deserted island, so here are my three things and why they are needs:

1.

Okay so this is a totally boring thing to bring from a medicine cabinet, but I always think about those people on reality shows who are stranded (Survivor) and how much it would drive me crazy to be stranded with no...razor.  As a annoying as shaving is, I feel like if I was stranded (I imagine it would be on a beautiful island and I'd be in my favorite bikini, right!?) Therefore, my razor is a must have.

2. 

Since I'll be on this island in sun, all of the time, I figured I'd need some really great face cream.  I love this for the summer, and I mean I could just put it on the rest of my body too, right!?  Talk about being resourceful. 

3.

This last one was a huge decision between something for my hair and something for my mouth (toothbrush/Listerine)  I figured if I'm shaved and tan, then a little bad breath is ok, right?  Having beach waves on the fabulous island somehow took priority over my dental health. 

I love that my fantasy of being on a deserted island is more of a vacation than a scene from Castaway.  Plus, I figured if all of you girls are deserted with me, then we can do lots of sharing :).  Can't wait to read all of your must haves on this island adventure!   Check back tomorrow for my first Confessional Thursday with The Newly.
