Easter 2016

We had such a great Easter!  It was early this year, but we still got a nice day and it's making Spring/Summer seem so close :)!! So, Friday we took Kaylee to our Mall Park to tire her out, then we were off to Virigina!

Looks like it worked :)
We went to the Brewery when we got to VIrginia, and the girls had so much fun just running and running.
The next morning was a 6am wake up call from the littles, but we were off shortly to go shopping.  Which lead to some tired mama's and a 4 o'clock cup of coffee....while everyone else was napping.
The girls did some playing at the park.
They even took a magic carpet ride :)
All the playing lead to snacks and a show.
We headed to my Aunt and Uncle, but a lot of us were still very sleepy...
off to church the next morning!!
Got some dancing in #WhereIsTheOtherShoe
Family pic!
My people :)

On the drive home Gerald and I talked all about the weekend, stopped at his parents for baskets, and then hid and exchanged baskets to each other to top of the Easter weekend!

We had a nice brunch at the Kosts and then headed back to the burgh.  I hope you all had a lovely Easter, and be sure to check back Wednesday for What's Up Wednesday

Weekend Update

We had a pretty busy weekend, so it went fast!  Our first weekend of Spring was snow-filled and chilly.  I have vivid memories of this happening.

Friday, Kaylee and I had a lunch date!  I surprised her for all of her hard work on the potty front, she's doing so great without diapers! #ItWasForMeToo She had Ketchup with a side of french fries and chicken...

We played in the play area after, and I can't believe how big she looks!

We ran a bunch of other errands, and most of the evening for Kaylee consisted of potty-training her babies.  And even giving them m&m's when they "went potty" :).  Friday night, I made snacks and drinks and Gerald and I watched Pitt lose, sadly!

Saturday morning we went to Gigi's for a visit then to the mall park so Kaylee would get an early nap in!

We were wedding bound!  It was a beautiful wedding!

Here's my sister-in-law and her bf :)

We picked Kaylee up at my parents after the wedding, and she apparently didn't realize we were at a wedding the night before because she had a VERY early wake up call.  How does that always happen!? So our morning consisted of books and paci's.  We missed Church and our Easter Egg hunt because of an EARLY, much needed nap.

Things got a little better when I let her bake some blueberry waffles :) #ImWearingShortsISwear

Sunday night, my Dad and I went to the Pens game, and it was a blast!!  We went to my FAVORITE dinner spot which is in the arena, The Lexus Club.  It's amazing.

It was such a fun game.  I love that my Dad is still spoiling me ;)

Have a great week!  Check back Wednesday for What I Wore Wednesday

Weekend Update

Spring Fever!!! We had awesome weather yesterday, and it's making me excited for nice weather.  Friday night I was out late for basketball.  Saturday, I had an 80's themed bridal shower that I went to with my mother-in-law and sister-in-law.

There were so many cute, creative outfits!  The shower was so cute, our favors were rubix cubes, snap bracelets, and bright sunglasses!  Everything was brightly colored and 80's themed!  Even the cup cakes :)

After the shower, Kaylee and I spent the night at my parents, because Gerald was away helping Ryan move out of his apartment.  We had so much fun!
Saturday, we hung and played.  Caught this adorable pic of Bailey and the book that Kaylee gave him to read, HAHA.  After Kaylee went to bed, we rented a movie, my mom and I did facials and pedi's, and ate junk food :).

Sunday morning, we walked to a bakery nearby.  Donuts gave this little girl so.much.happiness.

It was 64 degrees in the burgh, so we spent most of the day playing outside!

Bubbles!

Snacks with pop :)

During nap time, my mom and I watched "The Longest Ride."  We really liked it!  When Kaylee woke up, we headed for another walk to get ice cream.  This girl was in her glory.

I'm not sure who was more sad to say goodbye, Kaylee or my parents.  BUT, I'm sure they'll sleep well tonight :)

Thanks for a great weekend, Grandma and Pop!

Weekend Update

We had a snowy one!!!  I loved it :).  We had a pretty low-key weekend per some snow that we got, but it was great.  Friday, Gerald and I rented the intern.  It was really cute, light, and funny.
Saturday, we woke up to lots of snow.  Kaylee is so intrigued with the snow, so we were out playing in it by 9am.  We came in and snuggled up with lots of books and hot chocolate after.  Kaylee asked for "more chocolate" the rest of the day haha.
Once the roads are cleared we were able to get out and run some errands.  Kaylee got a new seat that she can't stop talking about.

Sunday, Kaylee and I went to my parents in the morning and my brother, Ryan, made us breakfast.  We got to spend some time in the snow, too :) followed by more hot chocolate and books.

Sunday afternoon, Gerald and I dropped Kaylee off at his parents and went to the movies.  We had so much fun and even splurged on a slushie and extra buttery popcorn :).

Have a great week :)

Tis the Season!

It's been so busy around here.  I started up with basketball again, I'm doing some subbing, my parents are moving, and so on!  I can't believe that it's already December, and I'm so excited or the holiday season :).  Here's what's been going on...

In November, we went to our good friend, Marissa's, wedding!  We had so much fun.  We all stayed in the hotel and danced the night away.  Kaylee stayed at my in-laws, so we were excited to get back to her the next morning :)

We get to spend lots of times with GiGi!  Typically, on Wednesday's we run errands and go to lunch with my mom and grandma.  Kaylee loves it and so do I :)

Kaylee and I took a girls' trip to VA to visit the Kost girls.  It was so fun!   We did some shopping, took the girls to the park, went to lunch, the works!  It was my first long trip alone with Kaylee in the car, and she did great :).

For the first time, we went to Oakmont's light up night!  We met Gerald's mom and my parents.  There were tons of people and so much activity.  Kaylee loved it :).  (She is wearing a scarf....this is before we got her a winter hat, oops.)

THIS picture is because of the previous one!  Kaylee got a new hat and loves it :)

As always, we spent Thanksgiving in VA! We traveled down on Wednesday evening, and the girls were so excited to see each other Thanksgiving morning!  We had a nice thanksgiving with family, and us girls continued our black Friday tradition.  It is one of my favorite days of the year; we have so much fun!

Our house is all ready for Christmas!  This tree is one of my black Friday purchases :)  I also put lots of Kaylee-proof christmas toys and ornaments for Kaylee underneath the tree!  She especially loves her little nativity set.

I hope you're enjoying the holiday season; I know we are going to blink and it will be Christmas!

Weekend Update

Here we are again...Monday!  The ground is covered in FROST.   I secretly love the change in season.  We had a nice weekend with family.
Friday, my brother, Ryan, and I went to see my Grandpa at his nursing home.  Kaylee loves to just run around the place.  She especially loved her uncle pushing her all around in her great grandpa's wheelchair!
Here are my grandparents with Ryan and Kaylee.

Friday night, we went over to my parents for pizza and drinks.  My family loves a good dance party, and here is Kaylee dancing with her baby and my dad!

Saturday, we hung out and did some cleaning.  Gerald made this fort for Kaylee which she LOVED (I'm not sure who had more fun playing in it....Gerald or Kaylee).

Sunday, we had the Griffin/Tylers over for the Steeler game, and it was a win!  Kaylee was in her glory being around all of her favorite people, and she had a very early bedtime because of it :)

Have a great week!!
